CamPow

Live public webcams, TV-style

Flip through live mountain cams like they're TV channels

CamPow is a channel guide for public webcams — ski hills, mountain towns and the roads between them. Press up or down and the camera changes. No search, no scrolling: just a guide and a remote.

How CamPow works

An illustration of the mechanism, not a screenshot. Channel numbers are stable — Vail keeps 10412 all season.

The CamPow Program Guide, showing channel 10045 (Ski Run Center, California) selected with Watch, Favorite, Hide channel and Rate or report actions, and channels 10049 (Vail Ski Resort) and 10053 (Beaver Creek Resort) below it, each marked Live.

  1. Open CamPow on your TV. Google TV or Fire TV — it's built to be watched from the couch, not held in your hand.

  2. Press up or down to change channels. Each camera has its own stable channel number, the same way a cable box does, so "Vail is channel 10412" is a thing you learn and can find again.

  3. Press guide to browse, or info for details. The full guide groups cameras by resort and country; info shows you exactly where a camera is and who runs it.

  4. Build your own lineup. Hide the channels you don't want and favorite the ones you check every morning before you decide whether it's a powder day.

What's on the guide

CamPow started with ski and mountain cameras and is growing fast — new resorts and new countries are added as they're discovered, without anyone having to wait for an app update. It is not a general webcam directory: everything on it is a live, public feed a camera owner already publishes on their own site.

Ski & mountain

Base lodges, lifts, summits and village cams from resorts across North America and Europe, with more added as the season goes on.

Weather & conditions

Cameras that exist to answer one question — what does it look like right now — for the roads and towns around a mountain.

Always live, never recorded

CamPow never stores or replays video. Every stream plays directly from the camera owner's own server, exactly as if you'd visited their site.
